2LT Phoebe Choong, 2LT Wong An Wen, 2LT Darren Lau

These guys always had my back. From week 1 all the way to week 38. From the worst of times to the

best of times. From meeting up on weekend mornings to run, have breakfast, and talk, to, crying our

hearts out as we threw our caps and berets to the deep blue skies. What a special bunch.

How likely is it to find a group that would meet you every week for the past 38 weeks?

To find a group that would stay with you for life.

The army was surely not the place I’d imagined to find friends for life.

I’m not very sure how my weekends and life in service term would've been without you guys,

celebrating every milestone we accomplished throughout the army.

When we got our postings, there were mixed feelings. One, that we would be able to go out and finally

specialize in our officership. Great news! One other, is that we would not be able to yell each other’s

names down the corridor and expect the group to gather together.

Despite this, we continued meeting up every weekend during pro term,

and somehow it never died down.

Phoebe, Molly, and Darren, you guys will always have a special place in my heart.

As my 3 pillars of support during the army, it was because of you guys that I could go back every week

and tell myself that I’m going to put in my best effort in OCS.

All 3 of you have shown me what it means to be an officer cadet, and more importantly an officer. I

think each and one of you is worthy in your own right and will inspire those around you with the right

values, morals, and professionalism.

All the best to all of you as we go into our units, Let's continue running the race and spurring each

other onwards.
